In the beginning of the XVIth century Woszczyce was the property of Franciszek Woszczycki. He was the son of Jan Woszczycki and was married to the daughter of Wojtek Nyka, a smith and the owner of an old forge on the Kłodnica river. When the son of Franciszek, called Maciej, was born, he decided to build a new, wooden manorial farm near the church. In this way, about 100 metres from the church  was built wooden building, where the hotel nowadays is located. After his first wife's death he married Elska. He had two sons: Mikołaj and Fryderyk as well as a few daughters. From Lord of Pszczyna, Jan Turze, he obtained on 11th April 1533 the rights of possession of his village Woszcyce, which had belonged to Lords of Pszczyna. He had also the right to hunt big game in the forests of Woszczyce.

His successor was his son Maciej, who retained the main part of the village and the new, wooden manor house. In 1566 all Woszczycki brothers: Maciej at Woszczyce and Widek, Mikołaj and Fryderyk paid homage to lord Promnic, Lord of Pszczyna. A t the end of the XVIth century the brothers donated their properties to their sons: Jan Woszczycki from Woszczyce and Królówka, Piotr Woszczycki from Woszczyce and Widek and Fryderyk Woszczycki on the third part of Woszczyce. Piotr Woszczycki as legal heir was a rowdy, in 1606 he wounded his brother in a tavern, about 1620 he was killed in a brawl with Jerzy Kania. When the 30 years` war (1616 -1648) broke out Woszczyce was completely destroyed, and the brothers were put in prison in Żywiec. When they were set free they sold out everything and went to Morawy. Their successor was Krzysztof Wielopolski, who had married their sister, Marianna. We come across his name again in 1661 as Lord of Woszczyce.

In 1676 Woszcyce was taken over by the von Franken family. The new owner Jan Jerzy von Franken was a chancellor of Bytom province and owner of Bzie in Pszczyna lands. Woszczyce belonged to his son, Franciszek Leopold, up to 1732.
After his death Woszczyce was inherited by his wife Anna Ludmiła. Between 1766 and 1782 Woszczyce was owned by Gustaw von Cybulka, from 1782 by Ludwik von Ruesch. He sold Woszczyce to von Sack. Later a Polish squire, Andrzej Witkowski bought the village. From colonel Witkowski a rich industrialist, Franc von Winkler gained the property of Woszczyce and Królówka in 1836. About 1864 Prince of Pszczyna Jan Henryk XI Hochberg was invited to hunt for big game. He stayed there for three days and ate delicious meals. We do not know what they were eating then, it is a pity the Prince cannot come here today. When Winkler died his fortune was inherited by his daughter, married to von Thiele Winkler. Woszcyce remained in their possession till 1945.

After 1945 Woszczyce was nationalised. The manor house in Woszczyce was occupied by workers of Stateowned Forests among others Mr. and Mrs. Jaworski. The manor house was left to decay and finally collapsed. The ruins of the old house were bought by the Szczepański family. They renovated that monument, which is the now most beautiful building in Woszczyce.
